PARS and Nasdaq Europe: PHRM) announced today it will
present to institutional investors and equity analysts
next week at the JPMorgan H&Q 20th Annual Healthcare
Conference in San Francisco on Wednesday, January 9, 2002,
at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time (5:00 p.m. Eastern Time). The
presentation will outline the Companys progress
toward solidifying its position in the therapeutic marketplace
for neurological indications.
Core
discussion will be devoted to the pipeline of products
growing from Pharmos library of proprietary non-psychotropic
cannabinoid compounds (dextrocannabinoids) and their development
as treatments for various CNS and peripheral neuro-inflammatory
disorders. Progress in programs for stroke, neuropathic
pain and Parkinsons disease will be highlighted,
and results from an animal model for acute renal ischemia
will be introduced. The presentation will also review
progress in the pivotal Phase III clinical trial of dexanabinol
for traumatic brain injury.
